Now you can easily service the air can without doing a whole rebuild. To do this, you use the big socket and loosen the nut. If the inside doesn't turn, you can remove the nut and the system stays pressurized. But if you loosen the big nut and it turns the center, you can slide the pinned socket inside the big socket and hold the big socket while you turn the inside clockwise to break it free from the big nut and retighten it into the shock, keeping the system pressurized.
