Float Shock Rebuild Tool Kit for Fox X2 Service

This float shock rebuild tool kit has 6 tools for 2021 Fox DHX2 and X2 shocks. The tools are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and are available as a combined set or as individual tool options.

Vise Clamp and Sealhead Tool

The vise clamp includes the 1.25 inner air sleeve clamp and the Rezi body clamp. The inner air sleeve clamp is equivalent to Fox part number 803-01-690, and the Rezi body clamp is equivalent to Fox 803-01-545. The sealhead tool is a wrench for the negative air seal head; it is 9.5" long, has chamfered corners, and uses a 3/8" square drive so you can torque it to spec. This tool fits 2016-2021 X2 and DHX2 Float shocks and matches Fox part number 398-00-419.

4 Pin Sockets for Fox X2 Service

The kit also includes a bearing housing driver with 4 hardened steel pins for 2021 Fox X2 shocks. It is the tool used on step 12 of the Fox Float X2 rebuild instructions and is CNC machined for a precise fit. The cartridge cap tools also use 4 hardened pins for the red and blue caps on 2021 DHX2 and X2 shocks only. One version has a 3/8" square drive, and the other fits a 5/8 or 16mm socket. These tools match Fox tool numbers 398-00-887, 398-00-882, and 398-00-881.

Compatibility Notes

• The 3/8" shaft clamp will not fit older versions of the X2 shocks.
