Milled from high quality alloy steel these taps and dies, with accurate usage and cutting oils, will tap and thread typical metals such as carbon and alloy steel, cast iron, aluminum, brass and bronze.
Three and four flute plug taps and dies with tapered coarse and fine threads. The tapered cutting edges assist in aligning and starting the tap into an untapped hole.
Either cutting new material or chasing lightly damaged threads eg old screws, spark plugs, rust affected nuts and bolts. The wrench handles securely hold the tap and die pieces.
